Flight Facilities – Two Bodies feat. Emma Louise (Extended Version)

Just two weeks after announcing their debut album, Flight Facilities have released its first single, “Two Bodies.” In the song’s opening moments, twinkling keys and building percussion provide the backdrop for a conversation between Rod Serling and Mike Wallace about the merits of commercial art. As the instrumental gains intensity, Emma Louise‘s vocals replace the introductory dialogue. Still, the track remains subdued and emits a distinct aura of vulnerability. It’s a beautiful song, one you’d expect to hear as a movie’s protagonist has a particularly introspective moment driving somewhere familiar late at night. You may not be hearing “Two Bodies” on too many dance floors in the coming months, but you’ll be kicking yourself if you don’t have it on hand for your next rainy day.

“Two Bodies” is out now via Future Classic/Glassnote.
