Hardwell nominated for three MTV EMAs
In a year which has seen Dutch superstar Hardwell become the world’s #1 DJ, release an abundance of material, and tour the globe, the list of accolades hasn’t stopped growing. Now adding three more to his resume of accomplishments, the founder of Revealed Recordings has been nominated for three MTV European Music Awards. Included in the category for “Best Dutch Act,” “Best World Stage Performance” and “Best Electronic Act”, the 26-year-old is facing competition across a wide range of genres.
Pharrell, Ellie Goulding, and Imagine Dragons and many others will be looking to topple Hardwell in the “Best World Stage Performance” category. Martin Garrix also makes an appearance in the “Best Dutch Act” race, while Avicii, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, and Afrojack are all competing for “Best Electronic Act.” The EMAs will be broadcast from Glasgow on November 9th – to cast your vote or check out the other nominees, head here.
