Miami’s own Sharkoffs already dazzled twice with two tastefully composed electro outputs, but the third time proves to be a charm for the up-and-coming talent. Switching gears only slightly he takes Jaymes Young’s melancholic “Habits of my Heart” and installs a pulsating bass line underneath a heavily vocoded chorus. There’s tons of classic electro grit to spare on this one. Pushing the BPMs past the point of casual listening, Sharkoffs’ take turns the downtempo crooner into a warehouse-ready ankle breaker.
