Skrillex and Diplo to perform from Madison Square Garden on NYE
We’re more than three months away from New Years’ Eve, but New York City may have just received its biggest event of the holiday. Today, Live Nation revealed that Skrillex and Diplo will perform from Madison Square Garden on NYE, bringing two of dance music’s most sought after talents to New York’s largest venue. It’s the kind of show that has potential to leave its mark on the city for years to come. With Skrillex and Diplo each having led two of the most successful careers in recent history, the performance is sure to be a pinnacle moment for both artists.
Perhaps even more exciting is the fact that Skrillex and Diplo will be performing solo sets as well as a collaborative effort as Jack Ü. For fans of either Sonny or Wes, this is something of a dream come true. It’s not clear at this point whether there will be other artists on the bill, but either way, this show is already massive. Tickets for the 18+ go on sale this Thursday at 2pm EST.
