Tomorrowland may soon expand to India
With a successful installment in the US and the upcoming inaugural Brazil edition, Tomorrowland‘s expansion continues to snowball as yet another international destination may soon be scheduled to join the empire. Indian regional news source The Asian Age reports that following the success of annual electronic music festival Sunburn, Universal Music India “is looking to expand its live music space in India and there can be nothing bigger than Tomorrowland […] It’ll be the biggest event in the country’s growing music calendar.”
Though Tomorrowland India still awaits official confirmation, when head of Universal Music India Devraj Sanyal was questioned about the potential arrival of Tomorrowland, he responded: “We’re neither confirming nor denying that we’re doing Tomorrowland […] We’re currently ironing out some details of a project we’re working on and will make an announcement when the time is right, probably in October.” Either way, Indian dance music fans can look forward to several exciting happenings in the works, coming soon.
