Dillon Francis is on a smoldering hot streak as he continues to tease new music prior to the release of his debut full-length album due next month. Following up the release of the long-awaited “We Make It Bounce” collaboration with Major Lazer and Stylo G, Mad Decent‘s prodigal son is beginning to test out more new material, this time with a one-two punch remix of W&W‘s “Bigfoot.”
Armada Music‘s W&W-helmed Mainstage Music offshoot offers the first preview of the tune, with no official word on an official release yet. A word to the wise: this remix effort should not be taken lightly. Dillon takes “Bigfoot” from a progressive-house big room smash to a new level as he warps the tempo into a dangerous trap selection, while keeping the original’s throbbing big room appeal. Thundering waves of low-end up the ante and Francis drops in gritty sample cuts into the rework effort.
