DanceSafe kicks off new ‘Visionaries’ program

DanceSafe, one of the most influential harm reduction organizations within the electronic music community, plans to open its doors to the general public to officially kick off its new promotion and support team: Visionaries. According to DanceSafe, the program “is the next generation of DanceSafe’s 15 year mission to improve the health and safety of the electronic music community.”

Those who opt to join the Visionaries team will help further implant the harm reduction movement, both from behind a computer and in person by handing out educational pamphlets at major events. The commitment entails anything from changing your Facebook cover and profile photos to custom-made DanceSafe images, to composing support posts on blogs. What’s more, team members will also have access to DanceSafe’s “Party Proper” Volunteer Training Program, allowing young individuals to staff booths at events and leave their mark on the dance music community.

To get involved, fill out DanceSafe’s volunteer form here.
