Deadmau5 does a good deed; sends fan Macbook Pro, Ableton 9
Even while in the middle of a heated legal battle with Disney, Deadmau5 knows deep down what matters most: his fans. And for those who have devoted themselves to the mau5 throughout the years, Joel Zimmerman will be quick to return the favor, particularly given his most recent good deed.
Zac Campbell, a longtime admirer of Deadmau5′, was DJing at a club for a DJ competition and after leaving the venue, belongings in hand, “he was attacked with a knife, stabbed 3 times, bitten, and beat the f*ck up. All because some asshole wanted his DJ gear.”
Despite being brutally attacked, Zac is, according to Zimmerman, “recovering well.” However, to help expedite his recovery, Joel has sent Zac a care package filled with a new 13″ Macbook and not one, not two, but three production programs including Ableton 9, Traktor Kontrol S4 and Native Instruments Komplete 10.
