Back in August, Diplo confirmed to Billboard his plans for a new Major Lazer cartoon to debut on Fox with its soundtrack to feature collaborations alongside Cat Power and Riff Raff. Details surrounding the 2015 animated series are beginning to come together as Fox’s Animation Domination has unveiled the show’s opening. Characters set in stone include Major Lazer, General Rubbish, President Whitehall, Penny and Blkmrkt, though the cartoon’s plot still remains foggy. A short preview of the show will air Monday, October 27th at midnight on FXX; be sure to have your popcorn ready.
