One of Spinnin Deep’s crowning achievements of summer 2014, Watermat’s “Bullit,” earned its stripes as a Pete Tong Essential New Tune back in March. From there the track became emblazoned in nearly every deep DJs arsenal. Nearly 6 months after it’s initial inception, another wave-making house newcomer, Shift K3y, utilizes his knack for genre-blurring versatility to put “Bullit” back into the forefront of the club discussion. Matching the original’s discordant blares and glowing vocal chops with his own tasteful grooves, Shift K3y’s remix installs a new transmission under the original’s already sterling chassis.
