Wax Motif and Hunter Siegel have connected for a collaboration, and the result is pure rave-inspired, deep bass goodness. A former half of the since dissolved Killabits, Hunter Siegel’s solo musings have proven to be quite successful, and as he links up with Australian dynamo Wax Motif, the product comes as a fusion of their two distinct styles on “All Night Man.” Crossing gritty UK bass elements with uptempo electro-house, and pumping it with dance floor appeal, the collaboration emerges as a bouncy club-primed roof-raiser.
Featuring a relatively simple arrangement of vocal samples and loops, matched with a bumping house tempo beat and a gushing current of bass, “All Night Man” incorporates a blend of different elements to fit nearly any setting. The track works in a groovy shuffle with some evident acid-house inspired sounds, yet manages to mix tribal undertones and UK garage fragments into a contemporary electro-house jam.
