Returning to the label which he’s released the majority of his music through, Andrew Rayel is back on Armada sub-label Armind. Beginning his career on the imprint in 2012, “Followed By Darkness” marks the young Moldovan artist’s ninth stint on what’s largely considered one of trance’s most acclaimed labels. Building velocity with an unrelenting kick before wavering into an extended, orchestral breakdown, “Followed By Darkness” showcases the young producer’s penchant for festival-size original mixes. Capping off a year which saw the breakout star collaborate with Armin van Buuren among a handful of other highlights, Andrew Rayel’s ascension up the genre’s ladder doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
