Eli Escobar and Blu Jemz launch new label, Night People NYC
Years of stellar music, lively crowds, and alluring venues have made Night People one of New York City’s best parties. Eli Escobar and Blu Jemz — two of the party’s residents — are now launching Night People NYC, the label extension of the name. To celebrate, they’ve pressed a limited number of vinyl copies of Eli’s debut album, Up All Night.
The first digital single from the record will be “Your Sweet Love.” Blu Jemz directed a video for the single’s B-side, “N.Y. So Hi.” The video features shots of Eli and Lloydski at Tiki Disco, their legendary summer party that hops from venue to venue all over Brooklyn.
“N.Y. So Hi” is available as a free download via Eli’s SoundCloud page, and the video is embedded above. The full single will be out via Night People NYC in November.
