Flume explores Tokyo on his Radio 1 Quest Mix

Flume is back with an hour of music to commemorate his experiences exploring Tokyo.

Debuted on Annie Nightingale’s radio show, his addition to the Quest Mix catalog is a downtempo amalgamation of tripped out synthwork with the occasional thunderclap thrown in. A mix designed for rainy evenings and smoked out apartments, the Australian producer — and one half of What So Not — takes listeners on a sonic journey that ebbs and flows with surgical precision. It’s a strange trip as only he could conduct and one that features other Australian talents and some of the best and brightest in the future bass movement.
