“Made my first movie soundtrack today;” Nicky Romero updates ‘Requiem For A Dream’
Harkening back to the violin-laced characteristics of “Symphonica,” Nicky Romero has created a fully electronic rendition of Clint Mansell’s “Requiem For A Dream.” Previewed via the producer’s Twitter account as a private Soundcloud upload, the Dutch star decided to use his real name for attribution on the track. A four minute string ballad that’s completely devoid of Romero’s now trademark mainstage characteristics, the upload came alongside a mysterious tweet, “Made my first movie soundtrack today.”
