Mysteryland US announces curator lineup, sticks to its music first mantra
Mysteryland US returns for its second year to Bethel Woods with another top notch curators list in tow.
As it did last year, Mysteryland has selected a handful of tastemakers throughout the New York area and beyond to curate its numerous stages. The first wave of curators to be announced includes Brooklyn’s own Verboten, the legendary Webster Hall, Adam Beyer‘s Drumcode, Jamie Jones‘ Paradise, French Express, Q-Dance, BangOn! NYC and many more.
Like its European predecessor, Mysteryland pays homage to the best that its local area has to offer and this year is no exception. Each area is hosted by forward-thinking clubs, party series, and record labels. Verboten will not only be bringing its leading underground tastes to the mix, but also its Zeitgeist series for indie dance and nu-disco lovers. Webster Hall – the 128 year old landmark venue – will be curating the most current acts in EDM. Adam Beyer and Jamie Jones will bring cutting edge house and techno to stages like last year’s Spiegeltent. Fan favorite The Boat will also return this year, with a new design focusing entirely on bass music and a very special closing slot. Q-Dance returns, along with French Express and a brand new Main Stage for 2015.
Camping has also improved. Not only has it grown in size, but the new outdoor camping stage dubbed “Pineapple Paradise” will be embracing an “anything goes” ethos. New morning pre-parties, called The Breakfast Club, will bring 90s vibes and live instrumentation to the grounds while the BangOn! NYC bus is returning to the circus for all your afterhours needs.
