Skrillex and Avicii make Forbes’ Highest-Earning Celebrities Under 30 List

Earlier this week, Forbes revealed the results for their ‘List Of The Highest-Earning Celebrities Under 30.’ The data was compiled based on entertainment-related earnings from June 2013 to June 2014.

Nine of the ten top grossers were musicians, with Justin Bieber ($80 million) and One Direction ($75 million) taking the two top spots respectively. Amid other pop acts like Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars, Avicii and Skrillex found their way onto the list, with Bergling taking the 9th spot with $28 million and Moore taking the 10th spot with $18 million. At first glance, you’re probably left wondering where Calvin Harris is. As it happens, the British megastar turned 30 earlier this year, making him ineligible for the list.

Perhaps most revealing is not how much Skrillex and Avicii are grossing annually from touring and digital sales, but the age at which they’ve achieved such success. With their eminent international status in mind, it’s easy to forget that Moore is only 26 years old, while Bergling is a mere 25.
