Ultra South Africa announces massive Phase 1 lineup for 2015
To kick off 2015 with a bang, Ultra South Africa makes its monumental return to Johannesburg and Cape Town this February with an even fatter lineup than last year. After becoming the largest festival in South African history in its first year, Ultra Worldwide stacks the second year’s lineup to the brim with headliners including recently crowned DJ Mag #1 Hardwell and his inaugural appearance at UMF South Africa, trance-king Armin van Buuren, ex-Swedish House Mafia duo Axwell^Ingrosso, and 18-year old superstar Martin Garrix. For being only in its second year, I don’t know how Ultra Worldwide could have made this lineup more impressive. To support the headliners, the festival pays homage to the host country by employing the talents of some of South Africa’s hottest artists. The multi-instrumental, live-dance act Goldfish, underground wizard Black Coffee, legendary house duo Fresh & Euphonic, as well as Protoculture and Roger Good will provide a myriad of supporting acts flaunting a wide range of genres. Pre-registered fans can exclusively purchase tickets November 6th at 9am SAST before they go on sale the next day for the general public, November 7th.
