Dillon Francis & Sultan + Ned Shepard – When We Were Young (Vicetone Remix)
Vicetone, the Dutch pair known for bringing a creative edge to dance music, have now taken to one of the industry’s current favorites, remixing Dillon Francis and Sultan + Ned Shepard‘s original “When We Were Young.” Teaming up after Dillon reached out to them on Twitter, Vicetone has transformed the lead single off Francis’s brand new album, Money Sucks, Friends Rule. In an interview with Billboard, Vicetone gave insight as to their musical direction with the piece: “We wanted the vibe of the chords to give a melancholic and nostalgic feeling.” Fueled with bright pads, crisply defined bass and a pleasant drop, the song accomplishes that and more.
