While 5 Years of Mau5 came and went with an overabundance of electronic music heavyweights attached to deadmau5’s originals, one more remix has just emerged. Coming from little-known producer ATTLAS, who doesn’t even have a track on his Soundcloud page, the rendition of the 2011 original mix retools it with an excess of main-stage aptitude. The original mix’s chords are still present and accounted for, although a deep and driving rhythm replaces the focal point of “Aural Psynapse.” Originally uploaded to SectionZ in 2002 under the alias Halcyon441, twelve years later the first version of the original mix has been revamped by the Canadian star, then primed for 2014 by a relative unknown.
