While the news of Gorgon City‘s next album was just unveiled with little more information given out, work from the pair’s first long-player continues to litter electronic music’s release circuit. The latest to receive a remix package is the pair’s Jennifer Hudson collaboration and taking center stage is burgeoning duo Illyus & Barrientos. Already touted on BBC Radio 1 by Annie Mac, the remix grabs Jennifer Hudson’s vocals and immediately darkens the tone set by the original production. With support from Pete Tong on their resume, Illyus & Barrientos have set the foundation for a breakout 2015.
