Jack U, RL Grime, What So Not, and Carmada take over Triple J
The biggest Triple J takeover of the year (and possibly all time) went down last night at the height of the Stereosonic festival. Joining Nina Las Vegas on air, Skrillex, Diplo, RL Grime, What So Not, and Carmada invaded the Triple J studios to spin a 3 hour long mix jam-packed with bits and pieces of everyone’s catalog and some never before heard cuts. The mix kicks off with Jack U’s newest single “Take U” and continues on a bulldozing path of dub funk that includes a premiere of Carmada’s new EP and a back-to-back-to-back Skrillex, Rl Grime, and What So Not knock out punch. A handful of IDs, including one from Major Lazer, are all tucked away in this 3 hour, 95 track mix of the year contender.
