Shadow Child – Climbin’ (Piano Weapon) (Thalab Remix) [Free Download]
Normally known for his deeper and darker tendencies, Shadow Child threw a curve ball a few months back with the release of his funky, feel-good original, “Climbin’ (Piano Weapon).” On Christmas Day, the UK producer hosted Barcelona duo Thalab’s remix of “Climbin’ (Piano Weapon)” on his SoundCloud page. The duo maintain the original’s positive nature but in a different light. Warping the vocal down an octave, Thalab layer whimsical synths before going tropical by adding a steel drum melody into the mix. The Barcelona duo take the original from the midnight dancefloor of London to the sunset beaches of Spain.
