Axwell to open restaurant and lounge in West Hollywood

Former Swedish House Mafia member Axwell announced the merging of musical and culinary art in his new venture, a multi-concept restaurant and lounge. To realize the project, he has teamed up with restaurateur David Combes and Australian DJ Grant Smillie. The first level of the venue, E.P. (short for Extended Play) will serve as a Southeast Asian and South Pacific inspired restaurant led by Australian Chef Louis Tikaram. E.P. will feature Thai bites and flavors of Fiji, Malaysia, Indonesia and Korea in its cuisine, and will include an interactive open kitchen. On the 4,000 square foot rooftop, L.P. (short for Long Play) will draw night-owls with its scenic views of the Hollywood Hills, a luxurious bar and creative late night snacks. A decadent VIP room named Frankie’s after New York DJ legend Frankie Knuckles, will share the rooftop space with L.P.
According to Eater, guests can expect plenty of chic music-inspired decor inside the massive venue. The restaurant and lounge is expected to open late this February.
