What we learned from deadmau5’s AMA; a followup to ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ is in the works

In an impromptu AMA session, deadmau5 took to Reddit yesterday to answer questions about exciting new projects such as a possible new album and tour, as well as whether he prefers ass or titties (the answer is both, of course). Zimmerman also revealed plans to bring a “brand new show” to the Governors Ball and Bonnaroo in 2015 — a divergence from his forthcoming ‘Entropy‘ live tour that is expected to take place later this year. Here is everything we learned about deadmau5 from his Reddit AMA:
Contrary to popular belief, deadmau5 is a normal human being like the rest of us.
Meaning that he, too, has fears.
Tropical house isn’t cool…
He hopped on the “EDM sucks” train years before Porter.
It’s difficult to please everyone, and deadmau5 accepts that the fluctuations in his musical style will not always cater to his fans’ tastes.
However, everyone loves spontaneous coffee runs. And there will be more of them.
This guy just got told. He is jumping at the opportunity to collaborate with Afrojack.
And the possibility of scoring a film. But it has to be the right one.
A follow-up to Seven Deadly Sins is in the works.
But for now, the 20-minute version of “Strobe” is complete.
We would probably be more receptive than he knows.
Something special is coming for Joel’s American fans, but we are still waiting to hear more information.
On rare occasions, deadmau5 will tip his hat to those artists that he admires most including Flying Lotus and Radiohead.
He has, and always will, fly solo, but that’s what makes him special.
