Future house took on a life of its own in 2014 when genre pioneers blended old school elements of tech and deep house with modern production approaches. Many aspiring producers have seen the growing genre as an opportunity to get ahead of the curve and get a foot in the dance music world. The Dominican Republic-based duo, Lash, turned up on Hypem and Beatport not too long ago experimenting with various sounds on their multi-genre releases. To kick off 2015, Lash has teamed up with mysterious producer Kelvin for his debut release – a future progressive remix of Estiva & the Spacies’ “Voices.” In an effort to stand out amongst immense competition, Kelvin & Lash concoct a paradoxical mixture of sounds. Their remix welds the uplifting harmonies of progressive house with the grittier elements of future house to create a two-faced chimera. The remix will be out on Enhanced Records on Monday, January 26th.
