Same K – For You (Above & Beyond Edit)
Back in October, Above & Beyond took over Madison Square Garden for possibly their largest show to date: Group Therapy 100. Four tracks into the set, the trio dropped the first unknown song of the night, leaving fans hungering for its identity in the wake of the show. Now, to the delight of their fans, Above & Beyond have unveiled their coveted-edit of Same K’s “For You” on SoundCloud.
As it turns out, the track was originally tipped off to the duo by Arty. They noted on Group Therapy radio: “our good friend Arty got in touch last year to say that he found a young Russian producer making Anjuna-sounding tunes; we had to investigate further.” As they do so well, Tony, Paavo and Jono have spruced up the original with a bit of trance and progressive charm, turning it into a quintessential Above & Beyond track. Thankfully for fans, the edit will be released early next month.
