Rihanna ft. Kanye West and Paul McCartney – FourFiveSeconds (Lido’s Sunday Service)
If it feels like just yesterday that Rihanna released “FourFiveSeconds,” her collaboration with Kanye West and up-and-comer Paul McCartney, it may be because it was in fact released just the other day. And less than one day later, we already have an updated version from Oslo visionary Lido. He works with Brooklyn’s Brasstracks to flesh out the track, adding drums, brass, and more to the acoustic original. They work beautifully together, adding warmth and body to “FourFiveSeconds” while keeping it every bit as soothing as the original. It’s the kind of song that would take some artists 24 full days to craft; it took Lido and Brasstracks less than 24 hours.
