One week after its release, Sophia Grace‘s “Best Friends” already has more than six million views on YouTube and is charting on Billboard’s Hot 100. And last but not least, it just got a Y//2//K remix. Though he injects some exciting new elements into the track – adding crisp percussion and toying with the vocals, for starters – it still has the feel of the original. It’s an exciting take on what was already an irresistible, infectious song. 11-year-old Sophia Grace was already responsible for one of early 2015’s biggest jams; Y//2//K just made it that much better.
