Stereo Productions releases Playa Del Carmen 2015 playlist and it rocks
Last week, Stereo Productions released their playlist of picks representing Playa Del Carmen 2015 via Beatport. Compiled by beloved duo Chus & Ceballos, the playlist features 22 tracks composed by the likes of Rony Seikaly, Stefano Noferini, Alex Sosa, Oscar de Rivera and Joeski, to name just a few. All of the tunes on the list are either tribal tech house or driving techno – perfect sounds to portray ten glorious days dancing on the white shores of the eastern Mexican coastline during the BPM festival.
One big playlist standout is Rony Seikaly’s chic and ethereal “Groove Box,” which focuses on exactly what it’s name implies: a steady, sexy groove that crawls right up under your skin.
On the other hand, “They Say Nothing” by celebrated outfit Chus & Ceballos takes things in a new level of intensity with it’s hard, edgy bass line and faint wailing vocals.
“Calaveras” by Alex Sosa, D Low and Goncalo, and “Haidaku” by DJ Fronter, are both sultry tribal tech house tunes that take the listener to the darkness and mystery of the jungle with plenty of rolling drums and syncopated percussion.
Meanwhile, Victor Vera brings some techno to the mix with his big, booming driver “Twisted,” which has become a favorite in the sets of Loco Dice, Carl Cox and Paco Osuna.
