Time Warp Germany announces 2015 lineup
Back in November, Time Warp came stateside for its historic US debut. The festival’s crown jewel, however, remains its world-famous Germany edition. Since Time Warp’s inception in 1994, the festival has taken place everywhere from Bremen to Berlin over the years, yet Mannheim remains its most consistent home.
Earlier today, the German edition of the festival announced its official 2015 lineup, bringing 19-hours of glorious techno to Mannheim on April 5th. More than 30 names of breathtaking talent make up the list. Time Warp regulars like Sven Väth, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin and Tale of Us immediately jump out, yet its names like RØDHÅD, Len Faki, lario Alicante, Audion and more that really make the lineup special. At the end of the day, however, it seems almost counter-productive — or at the very least antithetical to the festival’s principles — to try and rank these artists by order of appeal. Ultimately, Time Warp is about the experience, and when it comes down to it, you won’t find another festival like it.
