Bobby Nourmand is a new face in a crowded place, but his intricate spin on the deeper remits of house music is getting stronger by the quarter. Having inaugurated The Doors into this budding sound scope back in December, a new original cut comes into play for the sparing yet noticeably mature newcomer.

Catchy without the clichéd hallmarks, deeply atmospheric and keeping with the mint of harrowing melodic energy, “The Sound” is another fine piece from the budding US talent. Once in a while, a reminder comes along that not everyone is happy with the status quo. It’s early days for this particular house contender, but Nourmand still appears ready to take flight in 2015.
