Ravers know that flashing lights and a large gathering of people usually garners attention from law enforcement, but this group of photographers missed the memo. In a recent case in Los Angeles, an unlucky group of photo walkers caught the eye of the Los Angeles Police Department, who mistakenly believed the gathering was a rave event and quickly shut it down. FlaskMob, the group in charge of the monthly photo groups, brought out nearly 300 people on Saturday to Boyle Heights in California to photograph objects being lit on fire and sparking in order to capture long exposure shots. At 7 PM, the LAPD dispersed the large crowd with an air unit and officers.
