16-year old Oshi first appeared on our radar with his introspective original “i <3 u.”  Since then the London native has crafted some daringly brilliant beats that defy logic and genre distinctions. His latest work comes in remix form, a deft adaptation of Sam Gellaitry’s “To Earth and Back.” While Gellaitry’s original established a soothing presence, oshi installs a bold and brash layer of percussion under a sea of piano keys, sinewy stutters and a shuffling bass line. Blending numerous genres, from chillwave to future trap to Jersey club, the young and unique producer has yet again proven to be one of the genre’s most interesting new talents.
