After an enrapturing mellow remix of Ed Sheeran’s “Drunk” last month, Philadelphia’s Speaker of the House looks to keep the train rolling with a new original to his name. “Seeing Stars” remains on the softer side of the house spectrum but showcases a different sound alongside his debut’s vocal touch. Layering plucking synth stabs, repetitive hi-hat rhythms, and droplet-like effects, the rising house talent intertwines a complex batch of styles that similarly resonate with a Deadmau5-esque flair.
