Warner Music Group settles interns lawsuit

Much like counterparts NBC Universal, Viacom, and ICM, Warner Music Group is the latest entertainment powerhouse to settle an ugly lawsuit. An undisclosed amount will be rewarded to over 3,000 interns, who through two lead plaintiffs, will be covered by the claims of labor violations. The full amount will be revealed on March 9th,while pending lawsuits against Rolling Stone Magazine, CBS Corporation, and CBS Radio still await a verdict. Based out of New York City, Warner Music Group is the parent company of a handful of electronic music labels, including Big Beat Records and Skrillex’s OWSLA.
