The surprise album from Guy Gerber and rap mogul Diddy not only took the electronic music industry by surprise, it became one of the year’s best full length projects. Now seven months later, one half of the duo behind the album has teamed up with another producer to remix “Tourist Trap.” A glitchy drumline fuses together and results in the remix’s character, while a small synth appears opposite to the original’s vocals in Guy Gerber and David K’s new rendition. The remix could very well be the beginning of a daunting flood of reinventions from 11:11.
