Martin Roth’s accolades speak for themselves. In 2009, he was named a Beatport Star alongside none other than deadmau5 and Eric Prydz. In 2012, his Anjunadeep single “Beautiful Life” served as one of the top-selling deep house tracks of the year. Now, Roth returns to Anjunadeep for a heavily-circulated remix of John Monkman’s “Ope Frontier.” Monkman debuted on Anjunadeep last summer with the lovely downtempo cut alongside vocalist Liz Cass but the single was ultimately more at home in late-night lounges and car stereos than dance floors. Roth’s remix gives it the upbeat touch it warranted without sacrificing its alluring emotional charm.
