Shift K3Y may have began working on “Name & Number” two years ago, but it’s a perfect fit for the 2015 pop music landscape. The track has a classic Shift K3Y instrumental; it’s buoyant, bouncy, and absolutely irresistible. As always, his vocals are warm and heartfelt, and they roll perfectly with the sweeps and peaks of the song. All put together, “Name & Number” is a worthy followup to singles like “Touch” and “I Know.” In other words, it’s an utterly wonderful pop and house song.

“Name and Number” will be out May 4 via Columbia Records.
