SoundCloud reveals details of new partnership program

In the six short months which SoundCloud has integrated its new business model, the music streaming platform has paid out over $1 million in advertising revenue to its partners. With a variety of clients such as Microsoft and Fool’s Gold Records, SoundCloud has created a number of unique advertising platforms for companies looking to take advantage of their user base.

While the partnership service remains only available in the United States, the company has hinted at future expansion around the globe and continuing to diversify their ever-expanding partnership team. Despite a growing list of partners on board and as well as innovative new ways to monetize the massive amount of users, SoundCloud still has a long way to go after a year which saw the German streaming company have a net loss of $25.9 million.
