The spike in demand for deeper genres of dance music could not have come at a better time for Watermät. Just as summer was about to start last year, the French producer sprung his third musical concoction ever with “Bullit” that seeped its way into hundreds of sets worldwide. Now, as we gear up for this year’s festival season, Watermät unveils his newest Spinnin’ collaboration titled “Frequency” with TAI. Cementing lighthearted chords and pad loops into the track’s foundation, Watermat opens the door for TAI to incorporate shrill bass yelps. The pair’s new original yields a perplexing combination that seems to find a harmony on a much deeper level than the exterior.
