DA Premiere: Steve Aoki – Back To Earth Feat. Fall Out Boy (The Chainsmokers Remix)

Fall Out Boy and Steve Aoki’s “Back to Earth” off 2014’s Neon Future 1 album has just received its first slew of official remixes. The Chainsmokers lend their talents to the Dim Mak’s leader’s latest pressing, reworking the Patrick Stump-fronted hit into a dance pop meets downtempo trap crossbreed. Delicate keys and stuttered drums establish their presence under the original’s pop punk hooks, while Aoki’s signature blend of high-octane club elements provide a subtle electro touch that we’ve come to miss from the Dim Mak mischief maker.
