David Guetta earns first Billboard #1 with Nicki Minaj and Afrojack on ‘Hey Mama’

David Guetta’s Nicki Minaj and Afrojack collaboration “Hey Mama,” has earned the production legend his first chart-topping hit on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. The jump to first ends Zedd and Selena Gomez’s six-week reign for “I Want You To Know” and marks the first time that Nicki and Afrojack find their names at #1 as well. The song is Guetta’s 18th time placing on the chart since its January 26th 2013 debut, peaking at number 5 with the Rihanna-backed “Right Now” before now.

This week also sees Zedd’s “Addicted to a Memory” enter the charts at 18 while Major Lazer and DJ Snake’s “Lean On” falls into the Top 10 marking Snake’s 4th time at the top, a record only bested by Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Zedd, and Avicii.
