Dot da Genius – Kid CUdi’s producer behind the hit ‘Day ‘N’ Nite’ – and Woodro Skillson, recently teamed up to form Headbanga. After spending time behind the production curtain, the duo are finally ready to unveil their first original track “High.” With a few remixes and mixes (including work for Nike and the NBA) surfacing on the net over the past few months, the pair step out from inside the parentheses to create their own debut effort. “High” is a soul trap flip of 70’s classic “I Get High” by Freeda Payne, also notably sampled by Styles P for his single “Good Times.”

“High” is the first single off the duo’s Debut EP “Gold Mind” due later this year.
