Governors Ball shocks with After Dark parties; Deadmau5, Chromeo and more plan intimate NYC shows
Drake, Deadmau5, Florence + The Machine, and Björk are heading to Governors Ball 2015. Lana Del Rey, Flume, Chromeo, Ratatat, too. As if the heavy billing of this year’s installment weren’t big enough, the after parties for June’s weekend-long music frenzy are adding festival-sized depth late into the nights.
Announcing Governors Ball After Dark, presented by Bacardi, talent spills from long festival days to even longer nights with DJs spanning nearly every inch of The Big Apple. Not your usual string of after parties, acts will take to intimate venues from Manhattan to Brooklyn. Standout affairs include Chromeo at Output, Deadmau5 at Verboten and Flying Lotus and LPR — but that’s only a few of the 20 offerings across the weekend.
