Keys N Krates linked up with Grandtheft last year for “Keep It 100.” The Mad Decent release found sweeping success as the track took off, and pretty soon, everyone was claiming to be “keeping it 100” as well. Go figure. Now Mad Decent is giving the tune a four-track remix package, featuring Neon Steve, Astronomar and Bot, as well as the original mix’s creators all stepping up to offer new takes on one of 2014’s biggest jams. In a label-crossing move, Main Course Media men, Astronomar and Bot step up for an experimentally groovy rendition, taking “100” in their own unique direction.

The remix holds tightly to the key vocal samples from the original mix, but that is about it. Astronomar and Bot put together layers of odd, funky sounds over pounding drum kicks, meshing tribal beats with bizarre tones for a hunker-down-low remix that gives “Keep It 100” a dance floor feel unlike many other productions out there.
