This is what history looks like — Kaskade draws two of Coachella’s all-time biggest crowds

While the Sahara Tent packed out and flooded beyond its intended capacity with standout sets from the likes of Alesso, DJ Snake and Dirty South, there was only one DJ with the responsibility of holding down EDM on Coachella’s main edifice.

Kaskade shared the stage (and the spotlight) with some artists you may know; Drake, ACDC, The Weeknd. On this impressive and presumably high-pressure billing, he delivered — and that’s one of the festival’s bigger understatements.

Drawing two of the biggest crowds (both weekends) for a solo artist in Coachella history, what Kaskade brought to Indio on both closing Sundays was nothing short of typical Kaskade-sized theatrics.

A recently surfaced aerial shot of Kaskade’s Coachella crowd has taken the internet by storm, and for good reason. “My eyeballs popped out and my jaw dropped” was the reaction this photo left Kaskade with, and it will likely have the same effect on all who lay their eyes on it.
