Love Over Entropy – Tonii (Dixon Retouch)
Next up on Nuno dos Santos’s label Something Happening Somewhere is “Tonii,” a 12-minute-long song from Love Over Entropy. The release includes an edit by Dixon, who wanted to retouch the track from the moment he first heard it. His version develops patiently, marching along in a persistent, determined manner. Its peaks and valleys are enormously dramatic; ultimately, its the precision with which they unfold rather than any particularly striking elements that makes each high and low so moving. “Tonii” is a spectacular song, and Dixon’s retouch is the perfect edit.
“Love Over Entropy” will be out on April 13th.
