Nina Las Vegas joins Skrillex on this week’s ‘Selects’ playlist

What originally began as a little weekly nod from OWSLA‘s fearless leader has now leans more towards a weekly honor for the producers and artists who find their material on a “Skrillex Selects” playlist. Each week, Skrillex puts out a short playlist to jump-start your weekend with a handful of tracks that caught his ear from the previous week. With a notably seasoned palette, Sonny suggests a wide range of sounds from week to week, from OWSLA releases to new goodies from other various labels, spotlighting artists both big and small along the way.

Skrill’s taste is evened out by a guest selector as Nina Las Vegas includes some of her picks on this week’s extended playlist. Rounding out at 10 tracks rather than the usual five to six, Nina and Sonny offer up a grip of new music that moved them this past week. “In For It” from the WEDIDIT camp behind RL Grime on the production front makes its way to the list, Elk Road and Slumberjack’s remix of Carmada‘s leadoff single “Maybe,” along with Lido and Canblaster‘s “Superspeed” from their new joint release all top this week’s selects. Selections also include Kill The Noise and Tommy Trash‘s new slamming electro collaboration “Louder,” and Culprate’s remix of Etnik‘s “N7” among a few other cuts that set themselves apart this week.
