Shipsomnia to set sail in Singapore next year

The latest dance music cruise plans to embark on its maiden voyage in January of 2016. A Singapore-based voyage, Shipsomnia, plans to enlist 30 DJs for the five-day, four-night luxury cruise. The festival itself is the result of an partnership between Singaporean promoter Mad Fresh Events and an international team with experience working on some of the world’s biggest festivals, including UK’s Glastonbury. With a budget of US$2.5 million, the steam punk-themed Shipsomnia will take passengers from Singapore to Puket to Langkawi before returning to port. Expect a lineup announcement sometime in May.
